SABA Scholarship Award Recipient
Kailin will be attending the University of Nevada Reno Path to Independence program the fall of 2015. She is looking forward to learning more about photography, sign language and yoga. Her goals are to live on her own and find her dream job and she feels like pursuing a college education will help her attain them.
She already is a very accomplished small business owner, selling the glass art jewelry that she designs through KK Glass Art (http://www.kkglassart.com/) and has even won an “Entrepreneur of the Year” award in 2011. She donates some of her beautiful jewelry to groups and organizations (like Ruby’s Rainbow!) to help them raise money and also volunteers at the Humane Society. Kailin looks forward to a career in helping others. You are on the right track Kailin! Keep on rockin’ it!!
