Cara says, “I am 21 years old and have Down syndrome. This doesn’t define me — I define who I am!” Cara is currently attending the On Campus Transition Program at the University of North Florida. Recently, Cara was chosen to be the “buddy director” for the UNF Best Buddies chapter, where she speaks at fundraisers for Best Buddies. Cara wants to continue public speaking and encouraging others.
